Coming off of a big year and the success of his 2024 The Be Funny Tour, Comedian Nate Bargatze announced today 66 dates for his 2025 BIG DUMB EYES WORLD TOUR. The new tour will include all new material with more dates to be announced soon.

Influential and pioneering Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees YES have announced their “The Fragile Tour 2025, The Album Series” set for this fall in the U.S. This “evening with Yes” which will come to Denver November 9th.

At these shows, the progressive rock titans will perform their iconic Fragile album in its entirety along with classics cuts from their legendary body of work. The multi-platinum album features their signature songs “Roundabout,” “Long Distance Runaround,” and “Heart of the Sunrise.” Fragile, the band’s fourth studio album, was released in the UK in November 1971 and in the US in January 1972. The “Fragile Tour” is regarded as a key moment is YES’ history—it’s when the band became a headline act in the US.

Fragile also marks the band’s first album to be designed by Roger Dean. He would also design many of YES’ future album covers, the band’s logo, and live stage sets. This striking union of music and design is key in how YES’ sound and vision would be perceived; it also underlined how important artistic visuals were becoming in the rock world. On “The Fragile Tour 2025,” YES will perform in front of a video wall featuring AI treatment of Dean’s art, bringing YES’ art into the 2020s.  Roger Dean art will be available in the merch area at all the shows.

David Byrne return to the road with a brand new live show in support of Who Is the Sky?. The touring band will comprise 13 musicians, singers and dancers, including members of the American Utopia band, all of whom will be mobile throughout the set. The tour will stop in Denver for two nights at Bellco Theatre on November 6 and 7, 2025.

Who Is The Sky? builds upon the optimistic themes laid out by American Utopia and its supporting tour, and more specifically spelled out by the Grammy-winning Broadway show and subsequent movie. With this offering, Byrne continues his lifelong exploration of human connection and the potential for societal unity against the chaotic backdrop of the world. Who Is the Sky? is particularly cinematic, humorous and joyful, but often with a lesson baked in – that love is unexplainable, that enlightenment means very different things to different people and that it’s always a good idea to moisturize, whether you wake up the next morning with skin like a baby or not. Most importantly, the songs evince Byrne’s gift for riding the razor’s edge of avant-garde and accessible pop.

“At my age, at least for me, there’s a ‘don’t give a shit about what people think’ attitude that kicks in,” Byrne says. “I can step outside my comfort zone with the knowledge that I kind of know who I am by now and sort of know what I’m doing. That said, every new set of songs, every song even, is a new adventure. There’s always a bit of, ‘how do I work this?’ I’ve found that not every collaboration works, but often when they do, it’s because I’m able to clearly impart what it is I’m trying to do. They hopefully get that, and as a result, we’re now joined together heading to the same unknown place.”

Multi-platinum singer-songwriter Rob Thomas is set to return to the stage this summer for a highly anticipated solo tour: “The All Night Days Tour.” This extensive 25-date U.S. run marks his first solo headlining tour since 2019’s “Chip Tooth Tour.” The tour will make a Denver stop at Bellco Theatre on Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2025.

A UB40 concert doubles as a lesson in how reggae has informed pop music over the last few decades. Weaving together island-inspired covers of American hits like “Red Red Wine” and “(I Can’t Help) Falling in Love With You” with their own songs such as “Food for Thought” and “Love Is All Is Alright,” the band keeps people dancing and vibing throughout their whole set. 

For more than four decades, Birmingham’s UB40 have been one of the world’s premier fusers of pop and reggae, with their working class, multicultural heritage and keen ear combining to create big hits. Formed in late 1978, the band named themselves after a form Brits had to file in order to receive unemployment benefits. They released their first album, Signing Off, in 1980, and its blend of dub, ska and reggae with pop hooks plus socially aware lyrics made it a critical favorite that launched two Top 10 singles in the UK. In 1983, they had a commercial breakthrough with their fourth album, Labour of Love, an all-covers collection made up of songs released between 1969 and 1972. Songs by reggae and rocksteady stars like The Melodians and Lee “Scratch” Perry made up the bulk of the album, and its biggest hit was a take on Jamaican singer Tony Tribe’s cover of Neil Diamond’s “Red Red Wine,” which lets Campbell and Astro trade verses over a bubbly beat. 

The global success of “Red Red Wine,” which went to No. 1 in the UK in 1983 and topped the American charts five years later, helped UB40 become Britain’s de facto reggae ambassadors. Blending self-penned reggae songs with Caribbean-influenced covers of pop hits like “I Got You Babe” (a collaboration with Pretenders leader Chrissie Hynde) and “(I Can’t Help) Falling in Love With You,” UB40 have forged a path as one of the world’s leading reggae bands, their dual commitment to social issues and groovy beats only growing stronger as time goes on.

Shawn Colvin won her first GRAMMY Award for Best Contemporary Folk Album with her debut album, Steady On, in 1989. Red Rocks posted on its social media that the Goo Goo Dolls, along with Dashboard Confessional, will play at the Morrison venue on Aug. 24, 2025.

The Goo Goo Dolls have released several hit singles since the 1980s, with songs like “Name,” “Iris” and “Give a Little Bit” becoming hits into the early 2000s. Over 20 years later, the band is still releasing songs, with some of their newest being “Beautiful Lie” and “Run All Night.”

While band members have come and gone throughout the years, the band will be returning with founding members John Rzeznik and Robby Takac. – KDVR
