Tina Turner Leads Rock Hall Fan Voting, The Go-Go’s, Foo Fighters Make Top 5

Tina Turner topped this year’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame fan voting.

The “Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll” earned more than 585,000 ballots in the fan vote. Fela Kuti came in second, securing more than 545,000 votes.

The Go-Go’s, Iron Maiden and Foo Fighters round out the top five.

There were a total of 16 nominees on the ballot, including JAY-Z, Mary J. Blige and Dionne Warwick.

If elected, Tina Turner will become the second female artist to be inducted twice.

If Foo Fighters are inducted, Dave Grohl will also become a twice-inducted performer.

Fan ballots are sent to an international voting body of more than 1,000 artists, historians, and members of the music industry to be tallied together to select the 2021 Inductees.
