Queen’s ‘Greatest Hits’ Revealed As U.K.’s Most-Streamed Classic Album

Queen‘s Greatest Hits has been crowned as U.K.’s most-streamed classic album.

Queen’s blockbuster 1981 collection is the most streamed album in the U.K. from the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s, according to data provided by the Official Charts Company.

With more than 6 million units sold since its release, the album is also the U.K.’s best-selling album of all time. It has logged 973 weeks so far on the Official U.K. Albums Chart.

The most-streamed studio album on this unique list is Fleetwood Mac‘s 1977 classic Rumours, ranked at No. 2 overall.

The highest-charting album from the 90s is Oasis(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?, which is placed third.

Other artists/bands that feature in the Top 40 include ABBA, Dr. Dre, Nirvana, The Stone Roses, Madonna, Blondie, Jimi Hendrix and Michael Jackson.
