Mötley Crüe’s Vince Neil Reveals Covid Diagnosis

Vince Neil will miss the RokIsland Fest, as he has been diagnosed with Covid-19.

The rock star told fans he is okay but will not be able to perform at the Rock and Roll Music Festival to be held in Key West, Florida, during January 17-21.

“Hello RokIsland Friends, I am sad to report that yesterday I was diagnosed with Covid. I am okay but this thing is really kickin’ my ass. All that being said, I am unable to perform at RokIsland Fest,” Neil said in a statement.

“I would like to extend my sincerest apologies to the RokIsland Fest organizers and most of all my friends and fans. I am disappointed to say the least,” added the Mötley Crüe singer. “I was so looking forward to this show. I am hopeful that I will have the opportunity to make this up in 2024. In closing, I wish all the attendees of RokIsland Fest 2023 a fun and exciting time with all the other amazing acts.”

RokIsland Fest organizers said that in addition to Vince Neil, Norwegian rock band Wig Wam also will not be performing this year.

They did not cite the reason for Wig Wam’s absence but announced that Slaughter and Lynch Mob will be joining this year’s line-up.
