Rock icons KISS are set to feature in Dynamite’s brand-new comic book, “Phantom Obsession.”

Written by Ian Edginton, one of England’s most celebrated comic book writers, the new story tells the tale of Darius Cho, a “massively wealthy tech giant, but mysteriously reclusive” man, who hires the band to play a concert for an audience of just him, “his assistant and a crowd of ‘Westworld’-style androids invented by the mega-billionaire, everything seems a little off,” the synopsis reads.

Edginton has worked on several critically acclaimed projects, including “X-Force,” “Scarlet Traces,” “H. G. Wells’ The War of the Worlds,” and “Iron Maiden: Legacy of the Beast,” to name a few.

The new comic book is due out in August.
