KISS Postpone Next Four Tour Dates As Gene Simmons Tests Positive For Covid

KISS have postponed the next four tour dates of their “End Of The Road” tour to future dates after bassist and singer Gene Simmons tested positive for the coronavirus.

Simmons is the second KISS musician to have contracted the disease. The rock band was forced to cancel a live show in Pennsylvania last week after frontman Paul Stanley was also diagnosed with COVID-19.

“While Paul Stanley recently tweeted that he has recovered from COVID, Gene Simmons has now tested positive and is experiencing mild symptoms,” KISS said in a statement.

The band and crew will remain at home and isolate for the next 10 days and doctors have indicated the tour should be able to resume on September 9 at FivePoint Amphitheatre in Irvine, California.

All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new dates once announced. More information will be emailed to ticket holders directly.

The following are the tour dates postponed from the 2021 Tour Itinerary:

September 1 – Clarkston, MI – DTE Energy Music Theatre

September 2 – Dayton, OH – Wright State University Nutter Center

September 4 – Tinley Park, IL – Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre

September 5 – Milwaukee, WI – American Family Insurance Amphitheater – Summerfest Grounds
