KISS’ Gene Simmons Not Worried ‘If An Idiot Gets COVID And Dies’

KISS bassist Gene Simmons recently shared his worries and hopes about the band’s forthcoming “End of the Road” tour.

The tour, which was originally slated to take place between 2020 and 2021, was forced to take a quick pause owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, but will soon resume in full swing, excluding the meet-and-greet feature.

In an interview with Ultimate Classic Rock, Simmons shared that he is not the least bit bothered “if an idiot gets COVID and dies” but more about the people “he takes … with him. Who didn’t have a choice.”

“There are so many cases of people who were deniers and who are begging in the hospital to get the vaccine,” he added. “But it’s too late.”

The rocker also stated that while he hopes that everyone in attendance is going to be vaccinated, there is only so much they can control and “different states and different countries have different rules.”

The tour is slated to kick off on Wednesday, August 18, and will continue well into ’22, with the possibility of anywhere between 150 and 200 additional dates being added, Simmons revealed.
