A judge on Monday dismissed a lawsuit against Michael Jackson‘s businesses brought by Wade Robson.

Robson had accused Jackson’s loan-out companies, MJJ Productions and MJJ Ventures, of facilitating the singer’s sexual abuse against him and others. However, the lawyers for MJJ Productions and MJJ Ventures were successful in dismissing Robson’s claims.

According to L.A. County Superior Court Judge Mark Young, Robson cannot sue Jackson’s businesses over the childhood sexual abuse he allegedly suffered.

“There is no evidence supporting plaintiff’s contention that defendants exercised control over Jackson,” the judge wrote. “The evidence further demonstrates that defendants had no legal ability to control Jackson, because Jackson had complete and total ownership of the corporate defendants.”

Robson, whose accusations featured in the documentary Leaving Neverland, is expected to appeal the decision.

Last year, the same judge dismissed a similar lawsuit brought by fellow accuser James Safechuck. Robson and Safechuck had alleged that they were sexually abused by the pop superstar in the 1980s and 1990s while staying at his Neverland ranch.
