Elvis Costello & The Imposters have announced plans to celebrate the release of their widely acclaimed new album, The Boy Named If, with a summer tour called “The Boy Named If & Other Favourites.”
The tour will kick off in Huber Heights, Ohio, on August 6 and conclude in Las Vegas, Nevada, on September 3. Costello said that more cities will be announced later.
Nick Lowe & Los Straitjackets will perform opening sets in select cities, marking the first time since 1989 that the pair have toured together.
Costello and his band The Imposters, consisting of Steve Nieve, Pete Thomas and Davey Faragher, will once again be joined on stage by Texas guitarist Charlie Sexton.
The Boy Named If was released on January 14 to rave reviews in publications.
