Elton John Sings, Dances Along To BTS’ ‘Permission To Dance’

Elton John responded to the BTS “Permission to Dance” challenge by posting a short video of himself singing along to the song as well as attempting to complete the dance challenge issued by the K-Pop band.

“When the nights get colder / And the rhythms got you falling behind,” the singer crooned in the video, which was uploaded to his personal Twitter account. “Thanks, BTS. Love to the ARMY,” he said at the end, signing off.

The musician’s response came on the heels of the group’s leader, RM, posting a 10-second clip of himself lip-syncing to the song and tagging Elton John in the caption.

Co-written by Ed Sheeran, “Permission” marks the group’s second English-language single of 2021, following their May release, “Butter,” which reigned atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart before being replaced by the latest single, thereby becoming the group’s fifth single to achieve the feat.

Meanwhile, in a recent Instagram Live session, BTS’ Jin shared that the group will soon announce a new collaboration with an international artist, with many fans speculating that it could be Chris Martin of Coldplay, since Jin has previously shared that he, as well as Taehyung, have been massive fans of the band since a young age.
