Diana Ross recently released a new single, “If The World Just Danced,” from her upcoming new LP, Thank You, which is set to arrive on November 5 via Decca Records.
“There’s no wrong way to dance, just do it,” the Detroit-born singer/actress said in a press release. “Let everyone know to have FUN. Joy, joy, joy is the answer. Playfulness! Happiness! When you dance there is only love in life.”
Ross co-wrote “If The World Just Danced” with Aliandro Prawl, Andre Pinckney, Scott M. Carter, Amy Wadge, Vanessa Wood, and Jaquetta Singleton.
According to the press release, Ross co-wrote and curated each song on Thank You, the through-line for which, she says, is “gratefulness.”
“When you dance the world dances,” Ross added.
