Childhood Home Of Lynyrd Skynyrd’s Ronnie Van Zant Available For Rent On Airbnb

The childhood home of Lynyrd Skynyrd‘s founding member and lead singer Ronnie Van Zant is available for rent on Airbnb.

The three bedroom house in Jacksonville, Florida, can be rented for $274 per night.

The seven decades old “Van Zant House” was listed as an official heritage site in 2018.

Ronnie and his brothers “spent their formative years growing up in this house with their sisters and parents between the 1950s and 1980s,” reads a plaque in front of the house.

The Van Zant brothers also include current Lynyrd Skynyrd singer Johnny Van Zant and 38 Special founding member Donnie Van Zant.

Ronnie Van Zant died in a tragic plane crash in 1977 along with several of his bandmates.

“Inside this main house, you’ll find some cool memorabilia, a vintage 1938 Brunswick pool table, and a retro 70’s feel, to remind us all of the way things were, with a hint of nostalgia,” according to the Airbnb listing.

Businessman Todd Smith, who bought the Van Zant House, restored it to what it looked like in the 1970s.
