Former KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick released a tribute video on his brother Bob Kulick‘s first death anniversary.
Bob, widely known for being a guitarist with KISS, Lou Reed, and Meat Loaf, among others, passed away on May 28, 2020, at the age of 70 of heart disease.
Bruce and his wife, Lisa, worked on the new tribute video last month, and it was completed earlier this week.
“I feel that anyone that only knew him on one dimension or two, like, just Meat Loaf and Kiss, or whatever it was that they knew of him, they’re really going to have their mind opened to how varied and how successful his career truly was,” Kulick told Ultimate Classic Rock. “So I do see it as a really great tribute to his success as a musician.”
The video features several photographs, which Bruce says he himself has never ever seen, plus rare video, audio and memorabilia.
Speaking about his brother’s sudden demise, Bruce earlier this year said, “It was obviously traumatic for both Lisa and I because we did have a rough time for the previous year. So, to then suddenly be the one that would be handling his affairs and walking into the house because there was no significant other at the time.”
