Brian Johnson Says He Would Be Up For Writing New Music With AC/DC

Brian Johnson recently said he would be up for writing new music with AC/DC.

In an interview with Cleveland.com, Johnson was asked if “we’ll see more of AC/DC, on stage or even another album.”

The AC/DC lead singer replied, “I would love to do music again, whether it’ll be guesting with somebody, whether it be actually playing live with the boys. I’ve heard that term ‘hell freezes over’ a million times before with people saying ‘I’m not doing that again.’ But I’d be up for it. I think everybody hopes to make more music.”

The remarks come a few days after Johnson said he had been told not to discuss the future plans of AC/DC.

During the December 19 episode “Trunk Nation with Eddie Trunk” on SiriusXM, Johnson was asked if the Australian rock band would reconvene to perform live or to record a follow up to their 2020 album Power Up.

He replied, “Eddie, I cannot answer that. I’ve been told not to by everybody. It’s the official line.”

The last time AC/DC played live in a concert was on September 20, 2016. Unfortunately, Johnson could not take the stage due to hearing loss, and he was replaced by Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose.
