Beyoncé, Billie Eilish, & Van Morrison Among 2022 Golden Globe Nominees

Beyoncé, Billie Eilish and Van Morrison are among the nominees for the 79th Annual Golden Globe Awards.

Beyoncé, Eilish and Morrison are competing for best original song along with Carole King, Jennifer Hudson and potential EGOT winner Lin-Manuel Miranda.

Beyoncé is nominated for “Be Alive” from the Will Smith-staring King Richard, while Eilish and her brother Finneas O’Connell have been recognized for the title song of the latest James Bond movie No Time To Die.

Miranda received a nomination for “Dos Orugitas” from Encanto and Morrison is nominated for “Down To Joy” from Belfast.

Jamie Alexander Hartman, Hudson and King are nominated for “Here I Am (Singing My Way Home)” from Respect.

Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead has also been nominated for Best Original Score – Motion Picture for his Power of the Dog music.

Greenwood will compete against Alexandre Desplat (The French Dispatch), Germaine Franco (Encanto), Alberto Iglesias (Parallel Mothers), and Hans Zimmer (Dune) in the category.
