Jay Leno destroyed David Letterman in the ratings on Monday night. His return to the Tonight Show was watched by 6 million viewers. 3.3 million viewers watched Dave.

Jennifer Aniston says she wants to be a Bond girl. "I would love to do an action movie. James Bond, glamour and Daniel Craig. Sometimes you're not always thrilled by the movie you're pushing. I don't want to just play the girl trying to get the guy. That doesn't interest me anymore."

The boys sang on American Idol last night instead of the girls, who were supposed to.   The flip occurred when singer Crystal Bowersox was apparently rushed to the hospital with diabetes complications. Word is she also had the flu.   The girls should sing tonight.

Kate Gosselin on GMA .. she says she plans to install a dance floor in her basement so she can train for Dancing With the Stars.

Marie Osmond’s 18 year old son Michael committed suicide on Friday by jumping from his eighth floor apartment in Los Angeles.  Michael apparently left a note talking about his lifelong battle with depression.  On a side note: Donny and Marie’s Las Vegas show was cancelled Saturday.

Jim Carrey became a grandfather on Friday when his daughter, Jane, gave birth to a son named Jackson Riley Santana.

Tonight, Jay Leno makes his return to the desk on The Tonight Show. Jamie Foxx, Lindsey Vonn and Brad Paisley will be the guests. 

Sean Penn is being hailed as a hero in Haiti.  Penn and his daughter were outside of Port Au Prince when they found the pair trapped in the rubble of a building. Sean, his daughter, and others, rescued the family before he drove them to a hospital for treatment.

Tiger Woods is still in rehab in Arizona. Elin and the kids flew back to Florida Saturday.

Gillette and Nike the only two companies standing by Tiger now and even Gillette has suspended their advertising featuring Woods. Gatorade has cancelled their contract with Tiger.

Speculation swirls around the relationship of Gerard Butler and Jennifer Aniston, Is he cheating on her? Are they even a couple or is just a stunt for their new movie, The Bounty Hunter?  Word is that Gerard Butler won't be taking Jennifer Aniston to the Oscars.

Janelle Wheeler, Ashley Rodriguez, Joe Munoz and Tyler Grady all got booted off American Idol last night.  Some people are reporting that Ellen DeGeneres is becoming somewhat of a diva already on the show.  Being an Idol judge has helped Ellen’s talk show ratings. She's up 12 percent from last week's numbers and 26 percent over the same week last year.

The body of Andrew Koenig was found yesterday in a Vancouver park.  Koenig killed himself.   He had been missing since February 18th. Koenig played Richard "Boner" Stabone on "Growing Pains." 

One of Tiger Woods' former employees is suing him because he lost a finger while cleaning his boat. McKee is suing Woods because he was given a “small” severance and dismissed.

National Enquirer claims Tiger Woods is back in rehab because he is addicted to pain pills.

Donald Trump is advising Tiger Woods to divorce his wife. Saying to a reporter about Tiger’s marriage,” It’s so damaged and if the reports are just half true, I would recommend Tiger just call it a bad experience, say bye-bye, go out, be a wonderful playboy, win tournaments and have a good life.”

American Idol will make cuts based on America’s voting results tonight for the first time this season.  Watch Denver girls...Hailey Vaughn and Lilly Scott.   Reports are this year's American Idol winner is guaranteed to earn $1 million while those in the Top 5 will earn close to $100,000 a piece.

Former Falcon Crest star Lorenzo Lamas is engaged again. The 52-year-old father of six is reportedly planning to marry 23-year-old Shawna Craig. This will be Lamas' fifth marriage.

Kobe Bryant is coming out with a limited edition sneaker made by Nike and Aston Martin. The $700 shoe features premium leathers and the Aston Martin logo on the tongue. Nike and Astin Martin are only making 500 pairs.

TMZ claims Denise Richards called the producers of Two And A Half Men on Monday to warn them that Charlie Sheen was relapsing. He went to rehab because his bail would have been revoked if he didn't go to rehab, for using drugs.

Tiger Woods plans to make a statement on Friday at the PGA Tour Headquarters in Florida. Sources say he will read a prepared statement regarding his personal life and future and not take any questions.

American Idol revealed 7 of the top 24 last night and will tonight will continue to make cuts to the top 24 finalists. 

Elin Nordegren is refusing to move back in with Tiger Woods. A source tells RADAR Online, "Tiger wants her to move back home with him but so far she has said no.

Mallrats director Kevin Smith, 39, was kicked off a Southwest Airlines flight from Oakland, Calif. to Burbank, Calif. over the weekend because of his weight. As he explained on the microblogging site, the plane's captain had him removed from a plane after he was deemed a "safety risk."

Production of the Fox network thriller "24" has been temporarily shut down so that star and executive producer Kiefer Sutherland can undergo surgery.  Shooting is expected to resume next week with Sutherland's return. The Los Angeles Times first reported the production halt and says Sutherland suffered from a ruptured cyst.


The Globe claims John Travolta may adopt a Haitian child. A source says, “No one can replace Jett in John’s heart, but I think that as a father who’s endured a great loss, he was particularly moved by the suffering he saw in Haiti.”

The Chicago Sun Times claims Ellen DeGeneres has told Fox she will leave American Idol if they hire Howard Stern to replace Simon Cowell.

Angelina Jolie bought Brad Pitt a 200-year-old olive tree for Valentine's Day. A source says it cost $19,000. "Angelina bought it from a nursery called The English Garden Centre in Valbonne, near their French house. It's a very special tree and cost her a fortune."

The Sun claims A Rod and Madonna are secretly dating. A source says her boy-toy, Jesus, has no idea.

Alec Baldwin attacked New York Post photographer Tim Wiencis yesterday. He grabbed him by the neck because he was photographing him outside of his apartment building. Minutes before, Alec was pacing around his lobby muttering, "They are the lowest scum of the earth. They are the lowest scum of the earth." Alec was hospitalized on Wednesday night because his daughter called 911 after he threatened to take some pills.

Charlie Sheen is doing everything he can to save his marriage to Brooke Mueller. A source says, “Charlie and Brooke already are going through intense marriage counseling and Charlie has been very religious about attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and serious anger management counseling.

27.9 million people watched Ellen's debut on Idol on Tuesday night.

Joe Jackson is claiming at Dr. Conrad Murray is a fall guy and that Michael Jackson was murdered. Murray was arrested yesterday on charges of involuntary manslaughter, he is out on bail.

A star for former Beatles drummer Ringo Starr was added to the Hollywood Walk of Fame Monday evening during a ceremony that also marked the 50th anniversary of the sidewalk attractions groundbreaking.  Sidebar:  Ringo’s son Zach was the drummer performing with The Who during the Super Bowl half-time show. 

The Super Bowl set a new record for the most watched program of all time with 106.5 million viewers.  This beats the finale of M*A*S*H that had 106 million viewers. 

Angelia Jolie is an U.N ambassador and is expected to travel to Haiti today to visit earthquake victims.  Speaking of Haiti, a 28 year old man was pulled from the rubble in Haiti yesterday after being trapped since January 12^th.  He is in very serious condition but officials guess that someone had been bringing him water or he was getting water somewhere.  Jolie and Brad Pitt are suing a british tabloid now for reporting that the couple are breaking up. 

Kate Hudson wants to reconcile with Owen Wilson. A source says, “Kate realizes now that A-Rod wasn’t right for her. Owen is the one guy who truly understood her.

American Idol moves to the Hollywood rounds starting tonight, that may bring in more viewers for that show, now that it will be all the talented singers.  Ellen should make her debut as a judge tonight. 

Howard Stern says he is interested in judging American Idol. “There’s not a better job on the planet than judging that karaoke contest.

The scheduled arraignment today for Dr. Conrad Murray in the death of Michael Jackson, will not take place because of a feud between the L.A. county District Attorney and the L.A.P.D over Dr. Murray’s surrender. The District attorney wanted him  to turn himself in and go to court without cuffs and the L.A.P.D wanted to arrest Dr. Murray, and bring him into court in cuffs, so at this point the whole thing is on hold.

More is coming out about American Idol contestant Nicci Nix, a girl with a voice that sounded like she was on helium with an Italian Accent.  It turns out Nicci has been on at least 4 other reality TV shows, including Fear Factor and Making the Band.  On those shows she not only used another name but spoke without any kind of accent.

Sounds like American Idol producers would like to have radio shock jock Howard Stern replace Simon Cowell when he leaves as judge.  Idol bosses think he’d be even nastier than Simon.

The star of “Two and ½ Men”  Charlie Sheen is expected to in court in Aspen on Monday to face felony menacing charges in connection with the Christmas Day incident with his wife.  Word is he will also be charged with misdemeanor assault. Charlie’s lawyers also going to ask the judge to relax the restraining order between Charlie and his wife Brooke.

The Super Bowl will be broadcast in more than 230 countries with an estimated worldwide audience of 1 billion people. Jamie Foxx was on Letterman and along with being able to sing, dance and be funny, he apparently played some football when he was younger.   President Obama hopes that New Orleans wins the Superbowl after suffering from Hurricane Katrina.
