About Habitat For Humanity Metro Denver
Habitat for Humanity is a homeownership program that builds and sells homes to low-income families in need of decent and affordable shelter. Habitat homes are not given away. Partner families are required to put in 250-500 hours of sweat equity labor to help build their home, and make monthly mortgage payments on a zero-percent interest loan. Habitat for

Humanity is about so much more than building houses. Decent, affordable housing allows families to break the cycle of poverty, and have a firm foundation upon which to build better lives.
Since 1979, Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver has provided nearly 400 families with stable, affordable housing from which they can grow and thrive. Habitat Metro Denver is currently building our first green, transit-oriented development in metro Denver. This unique project will help change the lives of 24 low-income families who will become homeowners for the first time. Local volunteer and financial support will help us build these 24 homes. Get involved today and help change lives and transform our community.
