About the Colorado Nonprofit Association
The Colorado Nonprofit Association is a statewide nonprofit organization dedicated to making Colorado a better place for people to live by fostering an environment that supports nonprofits. The Association leads the nonprofit sector by influencing public policy and public opinion; serves our members with networking tools, trainings, communications, and administrative support; and strengthens the nonprofit community by convening groups and addressing sector-wide issues.
The Colorado Nonprofit Association provides leadership for statewide initiatives to assist the more than 19,000 nonprofits in Colorado, which represents the third largest industry in the state. In the last fifteen months, the Association has launched the first ever best practices program for nonprofits in Colorado - published studies to highlight giving trends and the economic impact of nonprofits in the state - and launched a campaign to increase philanthropy in Colorado.
The nonprofit sector has long been a force for good in Colorado. Since the earliest days, dedicated individuals have demonstrated innovation and leveraged partnerships to improve the quality of life for the state’s residents.
The Association’s Generous Colorado Campaign, launching November 27, is designed to help the people of Colorado support the valuable and integral nonprofits that improve the quality of life for all Coloradans. Nonprofits of all kinds need more support now than ever. We urge residents of the state to consider making gifts from the heart to the causes most important to them. Whether they support basic needs, the arts, animals, healthcare, the environment, or social justice causes is not as important as whether or not the gift is made.
We ask all Coloradans to make an investment in their communities by supporting nonprofits today.

KOOL 105 partners with the Daniel's Fund
KOOL 105 is proud to partner with the Daniels Fund for Cause of the Month. Philanthropist Bill Daniels loved America and believed each of us has a duty to offer help and hope to others. He established the Daniels Fund in 1997 to support programs that encourage personal responsibility and achievement. When Bill died in the year 2000, the bulk of his estate transferred to Daniels Fund, making it the largest foundation in the Rocky Mountain Region.
In the Fund's articles of incorporation, Bill directed the foundation to concentrate its efforts in two primary areas: College Scholarships and Community Support, including programs designed to help the homeless, physically handicapped and elderly individuals, as well as those suffering from substance abuse and mental handicaps.
