Dance For Dignity
We are excited to announce the 2nd Annual Dance for Dignity, which will be held during National Stroke Awareness Month in May! This event was started in 2007 by stroke survivor Melanie Wheless and her brother Eric with the goal of providing a place where stroke survivors could dance without judgment. Friends, family and stroke supporters gathered together to raise money and stroke awareness in our community. The evening was a huge success and we look forward to growing the event this year. Join Melanie, Eric and National Stroke Association as we celebrate the 6 million stroke survivors in America. Join us as we remember our loved ones who are no longer with us. Join us in our mission to reduce the incidence and impact of stroke. Join us in spreading the word about stroke and the event. No matter what your connection to stroke, join us for a night to remember!

LOVING HUGS Loving Hugs, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Littleton, Colorado, collects new or ‘gently used’ cuddly stuffed animals for our on-going program of sending these portable hugs to children in need around the world who are experiencing the stresses of war, extreme poverty, or natural disasters. We get these ‘hugs’ to them through our U. S. military contacts deployed overseas to give those children something to hug close and hold onto for a sense of comfort and love.
